It filters through

Here is the latest in my enigmatic landscape series. Compared to my previous work this is tiny at 10″ x 30″ though some people may not agree with me, but think about this piece compared to one that is 4.5 x 10 feet. Big scale difference.

I am really starting to enjoy painting with my palette knife in both an additive and subtractive fashion, though, sadly, the texture does not photograph well. I tried out the palette knife on the ground here on a whim and am very happy with the effect I managed to achieve with it and the interesting color blends. This new work is really bringing out my love of texture.
